Girl of the Moment: Skyler Samuels

 

Skyler Samuels, 17, stars in the new hit show The Nine Lives of Chloe King (which happens to be my favorite show) and I couldn't help but notice how her style evolved since the show had it's debut. She began with an average, girly style and has developed a style that's very glamorous and chic.

 Skyler's outfit looks like what a typical girl her age would wear here. A summer color block dress and simple makeup.

Skyler is later seen wearing a cute LBD. Although she looks great, this look is quite ordinary.

Let Me In Premiere

Skyler steps it up with bright red lips and a sophisticated ensemble. I already see her glamorous bold style showing through.

Apparently red has become her favorite color? Skyler looks gorgeous in this look, but I especially love her fun summer braids.

Teen Vogue Young Hollywood Event

Now this is where Skyler really lets her glam/chic style seep through. The makeup is so glam, and her outfit is daring and quite the risk, but she pulls it off.

Furry Vengeance Premiere

Skyler shows off her glam in this shimmery ensemble. Her risky, really hawte right now hair-do is a major risk and is oh-so-old-hollywood, but she pulls it off and looks like she belongs at the top of a best dressed list.

In fact, this new starlet has already found herself in the popular, glossy pages of Seventeen Magazine.

Girl of the Moment: Lui Wen

Givenchy Fall 2011

At age 23, model Lui Wen has quite a lot in her modeling background. 2005 marked the beginning of her career. Her big beginning was to be on the cover of Chinese FHM. Hard work got her to model for Vogue China and Harper's Bazaar China, and these gigs caught the eyes of Cosmo in which she modeled Karl Lagerfeld and Viktor and Rolf, which made these designers want her on their runways. Now she has DKNY Jeans, The GAP, Alexander Wang, Converse, Bergdorf Goodman, Calvin Klein, Vivienne Tam, Elle, Allure, i-D, Teen Vogue, French Vogue, Spanish Vogue...I'd continue the list but then you'd have a bulky paragraph of her accomplishments.

Anyway, it doesn't only take 'discovering a model' for her to become famous as it is with a lot of the top model stories. With Lui Wen, sheer hard work and perseverance got her to where she is today. She started small and became a top model after years and years of trying.

Girl of the Moment; Dianna Agron

Until Glee, Dianna's only roles were small appearances on shows like CSI:NY and Drake & Josh. Although her family was originally from Russia, she was raised in San Francisco, her father being the owner of Hyatt Hotels

It was only until her role on Glee that she became the famous, glamorous actress that she is now. 

Since then she's sky-rocketed into a hot star, being chosen for 'Poeople Magazine' to be part of the 'Most Beautiful 2010', as well as getting a small role in Burlesque alongside starts like Cher and Christina Aguilera. 

Her red carpet style is primarily elegant, with solid-colored sophisticated dresses and natural-looking makeup.

 Still, she has taken more and more fashion risks and is experimenting and finding her true style.
